GRRRR!!!! *$#@*&^$%@#!!!!!!!

So, first that treadmill that was graciously given to us months ago broke soon after we got it and now...

Our stationary bike is BROKEN!!!!! Hubby tried to fix it, but one of the main components is warped. GRRRRRRRR!!! Well, we bought it for like $100 before our wedding and we have more than received our money's worth, but still. GRRRR!!!! How am I supposed to work out now? I run/walk outside when the weather is good, but it is supposed to rain a lot this week! I don't even mind & actually like running when it is cold, but wet is a different story.

GRRR!!! My getting-back-into-shape and in a good routine has been sabotaged by our own equipment! UG! And I don't have a gym membership anymore. I gave that up when we moved here since I had a school gym (which I think I used like 3 times) and our own cardio equipment. UG! I guess I'll have to use the workout videos again when I can't run outside. :(

We might try to get another (and much better quality) stationary bike soon. I even thought maybe I should look into a 6-month gym membership if any place does that. If we move to that one community I have been telling you all about, it has it's own workout facility that all residents can use. Cool, eh?

I really want to lose 10 lbs. Seriously. Looking at the old pictures and old clothes made me sad & motivated.

GRRRRR!!!!!!!!

You should get a membership card at a gym. Much better than working out at home, as long as you actually go there 3-4 times a week.

And get someone to go with you - that way you can spur eachother on. It's a lot of fun!

LOL.and here I thought treadmills were for hanging clothes on..Hummm, what do i know.
The Mom has a stationary bike that's I usually dust once a week. I'm inspired for the moment though, thankyouverymuch, so I think I'll try and remove the dust with my butt today. :)
Plus I've started taking them to the mall every morning so they can get a wee bit of exercise through walking. I've found that clothes shopping can be a HUGE motivator.;(

Those three-way mirrors do a great job of motivating, too!

Get on that bike today! I'll be right there beside you this afternoon...treadmill or bike...gotta get my arse in gear!

Any chance the main component can be replaced? Sounds less expensive than buying a new one. Or are these things just not worth it?

I use a "spinning" bike from Johnny G. Spinning at home & I love it! I have the VELO, but anyone of them would be good. Might be worth a glance if you're looking to purchase a stationary bike.

You're right, bad weather makes for no fun working out outside. I'll bring clothes anyway - just in case. . .

REH: Yea, I kind of miss having a gym membership. I may look into getting one. I used to have one & when I was single, I worked out like 5-6 days a week.

TT: Ya! Use their bike when you are over there. Good idea! :) That's good that you are taking them to the mall to get out and get some exercise.

RLL: I wish I could get on that bike, but we think it will just break again. Hubby did put it back together, but the one component is warped, so it will probably just break again. Bummer. But, for a 3 year old $100 bike, that's not bad. I guess you get what you pay for.

Jen: We doubt it can be replaced, but we may check. Although, it may not be worth it. We should probably just buy a nicer bike. Hubby was checking out this one last night online. He really wants a recumbent bike.

Yes, hopefully it won't rain the entire time you are here so we can get outside. Bring some warm clothes, looks like it is going to stay chilly.
