Progress...

It seems slow-going, but there is progress on the home. We should FINALLY have the foundation poured this week.

I was so waiting for: 1st you sell the town home, then you pick your dream home, then you get hit with hurricane Ike(!). . . .

Ahck!

It's looking great! Coming along nicely it seems. And I'm very excited about those trails for you 2! It's awesome to live next to trails. Ohhh! Almost forgot - you get to canoe?! I'm jealous!

Yeah, looks good. The rest of the neighbourhood is all built out already? The trails look fantastic too. You've got to buy a canoe, that will be so much fun.

It looks awesome!!! It looks GIGANTIC, but then again, I know it is. I'm so excited for you! Oh, and what about a canoe? Are you guys getting one?

Cool beans. Keep up the chronicling. What are the big bags? Dirt piles? I have never seen a foundation quite like that. I am used to the big hole in the ground type.

Jen: Yes! We will be able to canoe the creek! There is a canoe launch site. :) Can't wait for all the out-doorsy stuffs we can do there!

Ian: There are still other available homesites throughout the neighborhood, but only a few left in our section. We just may have to look into getting a canoe! :)

ETK: We could either buy or rent them. The problem we have is the lack of a utility vehicle. I wonder if I need to trade in my Honda for a UTE? I dunno, I sure do like my Honda and only 2 years off from having it paid off!!

g-man: Yes, those blocks with trenches in between are piles off dirt. Not sure why they do it that way, but it has cement over it now. :) The foundation was poured this week! yay! I'll definitely keep the updates going...
