Thanks, Jen!! I think we'll be ok what up north here. I am just soooooooo glad we have already moved away from the coast! Unfortunately our stuff is in storage down near our townhome. I also worry about my friends that still live down near that area.
I am even more happy that we have decided to move to Spring.
Yeah, thanks Jen. If the power goes out and looks like it's going to stay out a while we may well head your way, but we're all setup to ride it out. This house has gone through Carla, Alicia and Allison, so we're hoping it'll handle one more.
My thoughts and prayers are with you! If it were possible, my giant rum supply would be with you too. I think you need it more right now than I do. Stay safe!
We are ok. No major damage. Some trees down and have been cleaning up debris since...which unfortunately has jacked up my lungs and sinuses. Ug. We still have no power or water or water pressure. We got gas back yesterday so can cook on stovetop now. Dad got generator that we have been using for fridge, microwave, and charging phones. No a/c, but thankfully it cool due to the front that came through.
I am so anxious to have power again and really want a warm shower. Bucket bathing is better than nothing, but...ug! Hope you all r ok.

yep. hunkered down up at the parents' house north of h-town. hubby & the dad are putting up the boards as I type.
Ian & Alli: You all have a place to stay up in our Longhorn City if you need a place. We'll pull out the benadryl for Nikki.
